So, I wrote this poem for all of my friends in DeKalb, before I moved, and I don't really know if I want to post it as a deviantion or not, but I want some people to see it....


We used to be so close,
we used to be the best of friends.
But when I moved far away,
we swore our friendship would never end.
We stood in a driveway, one January night.
We had no shoes or coats on,
but the frost did not bite.
We were warm on the inside,
from the vow we'd all just made.
We'd promised we'd always be friends,
and that's a promise, that will always stay.
I'm always gonna love you guys,
I thought you'd ought to know.
But the way you love me back,
it's hard not to know.
